Fax through internet

Is it possible in php to send fax through internet, if so plz tell me how

Lets think about this logically. PHP is a wonderful language, unfortunatly its not an end all. If by fax you mean connect to a fax machine and sendout a fax (the fax machine is connected to the phoneline only). PHP cannot connect with anything that "speaks" something other than TCP/IP. Fax use PPP I believe. So to answer you question. No. If you want to connect to a fax machine, learn C/C++, JAVA (I dont even want to think about the nasty I/O stuff for this one), or something of the like (Might even be able to find a Perl module), that speaks PPP, and go buy yourself a modem!

it means i canot send fax through php, but can send using perl, i little bit know perl plz tel me how that module works, and how can i send that using perl

I have no idea if something like this exists. I would suspect so but I dont know perl, so I would not be qualified to tell you. With a little research I found something called Opent Transport PPP, but have no idea how it works etc. You would be better of asking a Perl board. Although... there are a lot of problems in sending a Fax. I mean the user could control that modem in essense by asking requests to fax. It would get kinda hairy. This is just a thought from left field, but if you screwed up I would think that a user could tie up your Fax with bogus requests from your webpage.... There are a lot of problems that go into making this thing work...
