I have a page called order.htm that asks 2 questions, one of which is the country you are in, the other if you are a vat registered business or not. (VAT is like US sales tax).
The purpose of this is so I can charge the correct VAT depending on which country you are in.
The idea is that once you enter your country into the order.htm page, you are then taken to a secure server where the price is shown and a label indicating whether or not you have had tax applied.
On order.htm, there are some hidden fields that pass variables too.
Questions:
How can I set up this page so that when you click the order button, it changes the "amount" hidden field to one that adds the tax if:
the buyer lives in the UK
the buyer lives in the European Union and is not a business
...but does not add the tax if the person is outside of the European Union or is a business inside the EU except for the UK ???
