Okay Guys, I need some help!

the sidebars are just tables with SSI calls... So anyways Im workin on this new PHP oll script and I want to imlement it on the right hand side.
the current SSI for the right is:
"<!--#include virtual="right.txt" -->" (SHTML)
now, this wont exicute PHP code so i tied renaming right.txt to right.php and chaning the include to file instead of virtual... it fuxed my page entirely... is these an easy way to do this>>>?
