Sybase+win98, Linux+php+mysql,SOS!SOS!

There are two computer. One OS is Redhat linux 7.1, running php & mysql, the other is win98, runing with Adaptive Sybase SQL Anywhere 7.02. I want reading the data of sybase with php. What shoud I do? I need help. thank!

You have to compile PHP with support of Sybase functions (look at documentation on php.net) and then use those Sybase functions.

I install the sybase rpm packages:
rpm -Uvh sybase-chinese-11.9.2-3.i386.rpm
rpm -Uvh sybase-openclient-11.1.1-3.i386.rpm
rpm -Uvh sybase-common-11.9.2-3.i386.rpm

Did there need some other packages?

See the phpinfo(),the webpage said:

'./configure' '--with-mysql' '--with-imap' '--with-kerberos' '--with-sybase=/opt/sybase-11.9.2' '--with-apache=../apache_1.3.23' '--enable-track-vars'

I am not familiar with sybase.

Is the something wrong with my sybase?
