Advice please....

Hi, i am building some sites for clients who want to be able to change images and descriptions of product on their site, i was going to use a database php/mysql. But some of them just want a set number of images and accompanying description (say ten). So can i just store this information in a multi-dimensional array using php and provide a form that updates the array, and if so is there any good tutorials for doing this? not sure what to do here so any help would be much appreciated....jeff

well if you want to make it easy for them to update it then use php/mysql or php/textfile as a database. but if they dont mind opening some code and editing them you can just use javascript to do what you want. same thing with php. you would just make 2 multidimensional arrays and use a for loop or while loop to loop through the first value of the array for the image and the descript array to print it out. ie. image[0]=blah and desc[0]=description. when you start your loop the code will go something like this:
for(i=0,i<MAXi,i++){print image; print desc};
}

but it might be better to do it in php/mysql. get more money and a lot easier interface for them.

thanks for that, so i cant make a form that is easy for them just using php? does php need a store of some kind (such as a text file). Thing is that i dont want them messing around with code, who knows what they'll screw up, and using mysql/php which i'd prefer to do means that the hosting charges go up as well. So its really trying to find a low cost solution that enables them to easily update, without having the chance to mess with my code.
