fwrite question

ok im doing like a message board and i want the forum at the buttom of the page and i want the message to post in the middle and idea of how to do this?

Best bet? With that approach you'd probably want to have 3 files on the server:
1. The first part of the page (before the messages)
2. The messages part of the page
3. The last part of the page (after the messages)

At the end of part 1, include parts 2 and 3.

When you add a message to part 2, just open it in append mode.

ok gotcha but there is no way to do it like where it posts in between code i take it then?

No problem there, if you use the require() directive PHP does an effectively literal replacement of the directive with the contents of the file. All you need to do is be sure to do a ?> at the end of the first file (even if the code continues in the other files).
