To trans-sid, what is a relative link exactly? Does it just mean that it has no "http://" in front of it? Or are absolute file system paths not relative either? Right now I do all my session handling in a common header that I include in every page. There are links in there that can't be strictly relative, since I'm not sure what subdirectory I'm in. So, will trans-sid work under these conditions?
E.g: <a href="/FAQ/faq_main.php>FAQ</a>
It's an absolute file system path.
My host says trans-sid is compiled in, but when I turn cookies off, sessions don't propagate and I see no "SID=07f87sd9f" in the URL or anything. I think I should, if it's working, right?
Thanks.
