Urgent... using \r\n twice

Please help!

I have some html strings that have <p> in them. I just want to have a paragraph (i.e., two blank lines intead of this tag).

If i use eregi_replace ("<p>", "\r\n\r\n", $text) it does not work! I just get one line.

I am on a Linux machine. Somebody please help!

try douple backslash "\r\n\r\n"

1) nothing is 'urgent' in a forum.

2) newlines are note rendered by your browser, use the BR tag instead.
