Hi All,
When I enter a paragraph into a web form and submit to the database I do a str_replace like so in the SQL statement
description='" . str_replace("\n","<BR>", $description) . "' and similarly when I pull from the DB to edit it in the textarea box (but obviously the other way 'round).
But I also want to parse for apostrophes (') and ESCAPE them when I pull the info out of the DB.
If I put an apostrophe into a sentence like -
Welcome to St. Anne's - it goes into the DB fine, but when I go to edit it, it won't show the textarea box. Please help.
I assume I can do this by str_replace - but how do I do two at the same time? OR is there another way??
Thanks for your help on this one
All the Best
Lisa
