Grrr,,, Silly Scripts!@#

Ok, I am an administrator for a site that is based upon a game that has another site as its homepage. The game site includes a line that I wish to have printed on one of my pages:

adventurers currently online.

ie: 2522 adventures currently online.

Now, I don't want the entire page loading on my webpages, I just want that line.. What is the best way (size of code doesn't matter) to do this. The best I could do was to have the whole page load, but I really don't want that :-/.

Write a small script on the game site that just returns that one line, then include() the URL to that script in your page so you actually just include the output of that script.

yes but you'll have to fetch the entire page and filter out the line you want.
