I posted before about what seems to be an IE6 bug where a table will not always resize to fit a picture inside it. I screenshotted examples here:

I have gotten around the problem by using getImageSize() on the picture, and explicitly setting the <TD> width equal to the picture width. I also included the WIDTH and HEIGHT attributes in the IMG tag.
I originally had it resizing even pictures not stored locally (URLs), but it was (understandably) very reliant on the time it took to fetch the URL. Any delays in getting the picture remotely were very present in the rendering of the page. I now have it only resizing pictures stored locally.
I thought I'd share this workaround with the board. Any better suggestions for getting around this very annoying problem are welcome.
