mail( ) no connect

Wonder if you guys might know how to deal with this problem.

Working with PHP

Code: Mail($To, $Subject, $Body);

Error: "Warning Failed to connect"

I am connected to the internet. I am not sure what I am missing. I know that when I send the page to a domain on a web server it works great.

I believe that I need to configure my php.ini file for Mail( ) to work.

What is the configuration for Windows ME?
What is the configuration for Linux?

PHP is able to run through apache...

Do you have a SMTP server running somewhere? You have to configure in php.ini where you SMTP server is. The SMTP server is the server that actually sends the mail - PHP only passes it to the SMTP server. So when it said "Failed to connect", it means that it failed to connect to the SMTP server, not to the internet.
