Ok so i need to install gd library so that i can test my imageresizing jive, how?? is the question. I have downloaded all the libraries it says it needs but what need, i dont know how to compile from here...

Saw that someone had said that u can get precompiled versions, but havent actually found one yet....>>please<< help me out here...thanks

Jeff,

Slightly different if you running under windows or Linux / Unix.

Windows: it's already there in the extensions direcrory (php_gd.dll). You just need uncomment it in php.ini.

Unix / Linux: Check out the info at:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php

It'll point you in the right direction about compiling php with gd (if you distro hasn't already done it)

So, all i do is that ourt the the semi colon from before the extension=php_zlib.dll & extension=php_gd.dll and its that easy? should it show up in the phpinfo somewhere? thanks
