Codes list for php

Hi there,
my name is maddy and i'm writing for my mom. she's using php to do a professional website and she keeps hearing about new and wonderful codes she could use to make her life easier. what i want is a book or site that has an index of all the codes that are available for use on php pages. is this possible or am i dreaming? anything you know would set my mom's mind at ease!

the best place to start is the online manual.
The one here is out of date.

As for books, I used Professional PHP Programmin, but have heard great things about The PHP cookbook.

But, now all I use is the free online manual.

Yea the PHP Cookbook is awesome. I recommend it to anyone. Tell your mom that she has a sweet son for helping his mom. Awww. It brings a smile to Zig's face. 🙂 If all else fails have her just come to this site and post up some code and if there is a way to condense it then someone will know. Lata
