hi, i have not long started learning php and i see that i need GD to resize images on uploading, but there is a distinct lack of instructions for those not in the know. Can anyone one help me out here?????
Details:
PHP Version 4.1.1, apache, mysql ,windows nt 5.1 installed locally....need to get GD working to test resize images on upload.
Do all i have to do is remove the semicolons from the php.ini file extensions extension=php_zlib.dll and extension=php_gd.dll or is there more to it..(i have tried this and it seems to make no difference)..i have downloaded the files that i think i need i.e gd, zlib, jpeg6b.....but now what do i do with them??? i know not how to compile things in C... please help, thanks
