wrapping text from db

For the news on my website, it is submitted by forms and stored in the db. When brought up it is put into a news template. I am having probs getting it to wrap around a table i have within that table. Any ideas how i can accomplish this? If you need more details, just ask.

HTML does not, as far as I know, have any mechanism for "wrapping" text around other objects, such as tables or pictures. It's really kinda stupid in this regard.

In order to wrap text you have to manually create a table that's 100% wide, 1 row, 2 TD elements and then put just the right amount of text in one of of the TD elements, and the object you want to wrap in the other.

Clumsy? Yep. Annoying? Most certainly. Any other way? None that I've been able to find.
