Gen. mail in PHP, From:unprivileged user

Please help me out here... I generate a mail from a webpage with PHP.

I send a copy to the "user" with this code:
mail("$email", "This is a verifikation for $xxxxx", $UserMessage, "From: [e-mail]");

And my self recieve a copy with this piece of code:
mail("[e-mail]", "Booking: $xxxxxx", $AdminMessage, "From: $email");

The problem is that both of the, "From: $email" and "From: [e-mail]" turns out to be "From: Unprivileged user" in the mails that I and the "user" recieve...

It is nothing wrong with the var. $email, it prints the correct value... the funniest thing is that the user gets his copy of the mail using the same var, $email...

Does anyone know what is wrong ????

That is because the user who is sending the mail is apache (or nobody). If you run PHP as a CGI, then the mail will come from whatever user owns the PHP script.
