Generating SHA-1 hashes

Someone knows how to generate SHA-1 hashes without compiling php with the mhash library? My ISP doesn't support it :-(

Should be possible to write one...

Did that just now. Just a quick one - it's broken, though, so I won't post it here just yet (unless someone here is interested in getting it to work).
