PHP Editor

Hello, im looking for a good php editor with synthax highlighting.. i found a few, but they were all shareware... any free ones out there?

The best free PHP editor for Windows (in my opinion).

er... what os?

mac: pepper (shareware but fully usable without paying... full featured! runs on os x only though)

linux: nedit (my fave). emacs or xemacs (powerful but cryptic)

i don't know anything about windows...
