Grant Flush Privileges

Any ideas on how to grant flush privieges to a user. I have tried
$query = "grant flush privileges to fred";

etc

but it does not work.

Any ideas.

I don't believe that you can specifically grant flush privileges to users. It falls as part of the reload option.

i.e Grant reload to justin@localhost
