Auto submit a form

I have some variables that get passed to a page called success.php. There is a refresh and it then goes onto a page called completed.php.

On the success.php page, I want some code to automatically complete a form before the refresh (or while it refreshes).

Is this possible?

You've got a couple of options here:

1. Save the variables in a cookie in success.php and then read them in completed.php.

2. Save the variables in a file/database and then read them again.

3. Pass them on the URL on the redirect, eg page.php?var1=blah&var2=blahblah

You could also play around with a form on success.php that had hidden fields, use javascript to fill them in and then submit() the form - although this then becomes a javascript issue, not php one.
