Text Field Dynamic Text

Hello,

How do you populate a text field on an HTML form with data from a database? The data will later be updated back into the table.

I have added a drop down list to select the user name to modify, however, im not quite sure how to get the text into the fields...

Im not sure how to do it, however; Can I reload the page with the information placed into the text fields? Or do I have to use a "second step" page to continue with the modification?

Also, Do you use the "echo" command in PHP to send it to the HTML text field?
