CURL and HTTP POST shenanigans

Let me set the scene...

I'm trying to post a handful of variables to an outside script...

Because of having to cater for lusers I 'm not able to simply put a form and have them press submit (this step needs to be invisable)

I've been using CURL (a rather nice little mod) which is pretty much perfect (especially being able to send any information you like, referer etc)

However the only problem is that once the CURL POST has been done the URL (in location bar) is still the same...

Does anyone know how to forward the page as well...

Cheers for the speedy reply... But that method doesn't work as CURL never has a chance to submit the variables... I could use the header function but I would have to put all the variables in the path as well... I ned to do a valid POST.

maybe I should have been more explicit.

send no output to the browser.
Just post with cUrl.
After cUrl has finished, send out the header.

if you need a page to display before tossing the user to the site, then you'll have to do a meta-refresh or something after the page has finished loading.

Right... I see what you are getting at now...

But... It's always there isn't it.

I actually tried that (or a variey of it)... The problem is... If I use cURL to POST the data to the page and then use location() the page hasn't been posted to and nothing happens...

Anyway it's not so much of a problem anymore... I've working out that cURL won't do what I want it to do... not yet anyway...

A better description of what I want to do would be as a self submitting form without using JAVAScript... simple enough... but the URL to POST to is external and I have no control over it...
