Google's SOAP API

Hello all

CodingTheWeb.com has several reports of Google's new SOAP based application
programming interface:

Has anyone tried using this in PHP yet? If you have can you pls post your experiences here. Being able to query Google over SOAP should like a VERY cool idea. :-))

there are a couple SOAP/PHP projects over at sourceforge. don't know if that would be helpful or not - probably would work.
