querystring variable as page name.

Dunno if this will make sense, im new to PHP so bear with me 🙂

This is what im trying to do.
Im linking from one page to another and passing a value through the querystring. This value will be the name of a file that will be used as an include in the new page.

eg. going from PAGE1 to PAGE2 and passing the value ELEPHANT (have no probs with this)
the problem i am having is including the file called ELEPHANT into PAGE2. If it was a single page than no prob but it could be ELEPHANT1, ELEPHANT2, etc
im sure its just my attempt at coding 🙁 here is how ive been trying to do it,
{include "{$path}($includefile)";}
$includefile is the value passed through the querystring, (ELEPHANT or whatever)

and help greatly appreciated as im sure it is simple but it doing my head in 🙁

include "$path$includefile";

where $path is either empty or ends with a /

Suggestion: Variables in all caps are conventionally reserved for constants and globals, if you want to be able to use other people's code with your own projects you'll need to adapt to this. There are several popular styles of variable capitalization:

$alllower
$AllWordCap
$camelHump
$under_score

It's strictly a matter of taste, pick one and stick with it. You'll be glad you did when you're debugging (and so will everyone else).
