Grab the info after the '?' in thr url.

How can I grab the information after the '?' in the url?

I have an url like this:

http://www.test.com/test.php?id2319&name

and like to put this info 2319 and name into a Broken Link Report form.....

How do I do it?

Only this missing to get page finished!

Hi,
This is really simple. If you type in test.php?id=2012 the script sets $id to 2012. So you can have a simple script like this:
http://me.com/index.php?name=Paul

<?
if ($name==Paul) {
echo "Hi Paul";
else {
echo "Sorry $name you are not Paul";
}
?>

Thanks, but that will not help.....

Here is my problem more precisly:

I have some 2000 links on my page. I want to give my users an option to report if a link is broken, so I can fix it.

After each link I have an image, and when the user click on it a new page opens: my broken link page (/broken.php) and with the link id and info /broken.php?id2348&CNN

I need a to know the code to insert into my broken.php page to get the info 2348 and CNN inserted into my Broken Link Form, so it can be sent to me....

put the string to match from in place of $link. $link_id will contain 2348 in your example.

preg_match("/\?id(.*)&/", $link, $match);
$link_id = $match[1];
