How to avoid the \n - strings?

Hi,

I'm sorry that I have to annoy you with this newbie question, but I can't find an answer to it anywhere else.

My problems is that, when I try to store strings into mysql there are always the \n in such strings witch have one or more comma/s (,).

The CVS dump is useless for me if the escapes are there.

So, maybe you could tell me how to avoid them in the php-script or how to remove them from the database.

you should remove \n from the string
Before inserting data into table..
$dbInput = "hello\n";
$trimmed = trim($dbInput);
