deleteing variable values

we are workin on a telephone directory program in my class and we cant figure out how to delete the values for just that person. we have everything else figured out but that one part. and help would be great

Please be a little more specific. If you mean how do you remove the value of a variable, simply set it to nothing or null or whatever value you want.
