Multiple Drop Down Problem

Hi,

I am trying to populate around 30 drop down lists via a single query to a mySQL database. The problem is how to make sure that each drop down list only display it's relevant data. for example the table is as follows:

ID: Description: Price:
CD CD 1 10
.. .. .. Alll the way to
CD CD 30 10
TAPE TAPE 1 15
.. .. .. All the way to
TAPE TAPE 30 15

How would I populate drop down list 1 with only entries regarding CD and drop down list 2 with entries regarding TAPE.
