Totally weird problem using mail()

I was wondering if anyone could help me out....
i have been trying to Days to get this damn thing to send an email and it has come to this:

I have been trying to send email to 4 different email providers.
Pacbell.net, comcast, hotmail, and email.com

Now i have NO idea because when i sent email using the script to comcast or hotmail, the person gets it No problem.
As far as email.com and pacbell.net go, no email ever arrives.
Does anyone know what is going on? Or any thing i should look into server wise/ php wise?!

could be your smtp server is blocking there server kinda slim change there but if its iis its a piece of cake to check or it could be that those places aren't excpeting your server..or you could have it configed wrong.

There is another possibility as well. Some servers REQUIRE a bounce to Address (BCC) or it could be that they require a different kind of header entirely. I am not familiar with sending to those servers, but it is always a good idea to include as much info in the header as possible just to cover all your bases.

So you are saying that maybe my mail servers need to add more information into the header part of the email?
