Has any one tried putting a euro symbol into a drop down menu ? It comes up as a box symbol when i preview it in a browser. Does every one have this problem ? Is there a solution ? Please try it and tell me what happens Thanks for your time Al
Are you using a "& ;" sequence? Like, for a space, the sequence is " ". The euro symbol should have a sequence also, and you should use that.
By the way, this is not a PHP question, but a HTML question.

I know diego im sorry. I appreciate any help. Ive tryed the "& ;" and "& euro;" but it wont work. The euro symbol appears fine every where else on the page just not in a dropdown Thanks a million for any replys Al
On Windows machines, it's 'cos dropdown boxes use the MS Sans Serif font (unless you use stylesheets to change that, but that's wildly unreliable), and Microsoft haven't gotten around to releasing a version of that font with the Euro symbol in it.
<head> <title>test</title> </head> <body> <form> <select> <option>€</option> </select> </body>
that works on my computer...
Oh yes, so it does :-)
My MS Sans Serif font is newer than I thought. Kind of disturbing, that...
Thanks Grumbler thats fixed it !
Thanks for your help as well Diego i really appreciate it !!!
