While Loops

Ok. I have a while loop here.
<? $a1=$a0;
while ( $a1 < r7 )
{
$a1++;
echo\"<input type=\'hidden\' name=\'$a1\' value=\'$b1\'>\";
}
?>

I need to increment name which is \"$a1\" as well as value which is \"$b1\". However $b1 already has a value from a previous post through a post page. How do we increment $a1 and $b1 at the same time without overwriting my $b1 value.

Well, obviously you can't 🙂 You can't change the value of $b1 without changing the value of $b1!

So, don't change $b1 - change something else that starts out with the same value.

$b1loop++;

That works. Thanks. But, I have b1 as a id of a item. Carrying over b1, b2, b3 etc while carry over "test, grass", which are items name.
I need to increment b1, b2, b3 etc with out it carrying it over yet so its not "test, tesu, tesv etc which is done by the loop.
