fill an html table with result from mysq

Hi ....
i want to generate an html table and put data which i get from db into it...problem is not all fields will contain data...i.e some of thme will b empty....
so filling the table rows and columns will depend on whether data is there in the db or not...another thing my search is based on time basis..i.e i am trying to parse data depending on the time interval..8:00 ,8:15 8:30 8:45 and then 9:00 and so on....
