I have a MySQL driven website which works fine on localhost. Trying to access it from another machine on the network doesn't always work, however; sometimes the page is displayed OK, sometimes it is a blank page, and sometimes the page is "not found". There is no apparent time delay (i.e. the script does not seem to be running over time - more like 2 secs in total!).
I have been banging my head against this for a while. Then I tried setting "implicit flush" to on in php.ini, and it works. I have since switched it off for performance reasons, and instead call flush() at strategic points in the pages. I can't help thinking this shouldn't be necessary. Any ideas?
