ive just created a php/mysql shopping cart system for my company. Im not on to phase 2 of the project where wholesale customers can log in using a username/password and get wholesale prices.
Im thinking that I can just make a user name & password table, hash the password, and on a sucessful login, create a cookie. Then for each area of the site that displays a price, make some kind of if statement that says 'if there is a cookie display price A, if not display price B'.
Is my method correct? Please give me suggestions, as I am a still a novice with this.
