Read files ???

Hi ,

I think this is more easy .

How can i read a file then show into a page ?

Like this :

i have a file in the dir :
/home/carlos/abc

Inside this file i have this number 20

Then i need the PHP when open the page, read this file and show on screen automatically like this .

I open the Page :

The file abc have the number: 20 inside it.

Show on it .

use the f*() commands

$fp = fopen("/home/carlos/abc/abc.txt", "r");
printf("The file abc has the number: %s inside it.", fread($fp, filesize("/home/carlos/abc/abc.txt"));
