Mysql, images and one stupid /tmp/ -dir

Here's my little problem:

I've followed the article about storing binary in mySQL databases, but i've run into a problem wich i can't solve.

I'm pretty sure i've managed to store the images in the database.

When i try to retrieve the image from the database, however, the only thing that 'appears' when i do a <img src="getdata.php?id=2"> is a stupid dir:

/tmp/php23HSdbogus ... this is a stuid problem and i know the solutin probably is simple...but i still need help =)
