Make cookie available to all directories

Is there a way that I can make a cookie available in all sub directories of my site?

I have created a cookie, but it is not available to other directories, only the one it was created in can read it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah I read that before I posted my message.

I can write the cookie, but I can't seem to access it from all directories in my site.

Is there something I missed in the info page?

What should my path be for the cookie to be available to the whole site?

If I try to access the cookie from another sub directory it is working.

I think my problem has something to do with the fact that the page I am trying to access the cookie from is and included one.

ie I have an include file with all my common functions in it. I include this file in all of my php pages and try to call the show_cookie() function that I have written. The output is always blank for some reason.

I hope this is clear enough for everyone else to understand.
