onUnload Javascript with php (hELP quic)

hello i am trying to use javascript with php and using unload handler so if the user close his browser to actually unregister a session..but it doesn't word it does it if the pages its loads as well..any other way or any suggestionss...please i need helo

Why don't you make the unload event open another page/window that would clean up the session information and set a timer in javascript on the opened page to close after the script ends. Kind of like the turbotax.com pages.
