Hey everyone

With PHP running in safemode is it possible to have a script chmod a directory? the chmod command itself isnt working for me, and i've tried to use the ftp_ functions but cant seem to get it working, has anyone done this before? or have some code I could look at?

I know the actual command isnt allowed, but i was wondering if anyone had any other way around it like perhaps using ftp_exec or something along those lines
