setcookie() problem

Hi all;

When I setcookie('cookiename','cookieval'); the cookie sets properly, but as soon as I add an expiration such as;

setcookie('name','val',time()+any_int);

the cookie no longer sets at all. Could this be a php config thing?

interesting, I tried using;

setcookie($name,$value,mktime(0,0,0,5,8,2002));

and it works 🙂 Still can't understand why it won't work using the standard time()+int argument for the expiration argument....

Still interested in possible answers to this dilema, but will using this solution for now.
