keeping info IN the template

hi, i'm using simple template (template.php?go=pagename) for my entire site, but i'm not sure how to keep the pages inside the template at all times. for instance the page "links.php" could be pulled up by itself in a browser, and would therefore be stripped of it's surrounding template, rather than being called via "template.php?go=links".
specifically i'm worried that a search engine (or overly inquisitive visitor) would be looking at pages out of context. is there a way to make sure these individual pages, if pulled up on their own, could be directed to their complete url of "template.php?go=pagename"?

check out http://www.propertyinvestor.co.nz. The code is a bit muddled right now and it needs a revisit but the concept is sound. When a page loads it checks that "index" is in the url. If not it calls a javascript function and passes it's own name. The javascript then loads up index.php and passes the name of the file into the frame. Not hard but you do need to be aware of the directory structure you use to ensure that the right level of complexity is catered for. That is where we have come unstuck.

The javascript sites have other examples of this, based on the same URL checking concept.
