Inclusion Warning

I'm receiving an odd error that has be completely baffled:

Warning: Failed opening 'index.html' for inclusion (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php:/') in Unknown on line 0

Why would it be trying to include itself (I've checked a quadruple checked, nothing in my code tells it to), and why would it be failing?

What happens is this: I have a page that checks your browser and version, if its Netscape <= 4 you get redirected, (since NS <= 4 has problems with CSS). The redirection works fine, but the page you get redirected to throws up this error.

Any help is greatly appreciated :-)

Yes it is, actually its including the "top template" for the page. I have checked the permissions, etc. but can 't seem to find anything wrong.

What's got me about the error message is the bit that says "in Unknown on line 0" - indeed, Nothing is telling it to include the file!

Does your php.ini have anything for its auto_prepend_file or auto_append_file settings?

Failing that, perhaps you could post your code here so's we could have a poke at it.
