I'm trying to run an amazing script I found called Gallery:

The only issue I'm having is that it requires something called NetPBM to be installed:

The system I'm trying to get this going on is my local computer that's on Win98SE with Apache 1.3.24 and PHP 4.2.0 both installed and working great. However, I can't seem to find out for the life of me how I'm supposed to get this netpbm thing on there. Pretty much all the readme says about it is:
"For most typical platforms, you can just do
configure
followed by
make
To build all the programs. Then
make install
to install them all."
I have no idea whatsoever what they're talking about. Where am I supposed to enter these commands? Not dos, of course, right? Shouldn't I be making edits to my httd.conf file like when I installed php? And what in god's name is a .h file? AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
As you can probably tell, I really need some help here.
