how to READ EXCEL (*.XLS) FILES??

I have to read small excel files... and then print out data on web site...

If you are on an IIS Server (Windoze) platform, you can just create an ODBC "File DSN" or "System DSN" connection to the spreadsheet. PHP has all the ODBC functions you need.

maybe there are some PHP classes that may READ simple text values from EXCEL files...

please help...
