I really don't think PHP's gonna be able to do that anytime soon.
Like the guy says below, have it crank out a pdf instead and print that yourself.
Or if Acrobat Reader (or Ghostscript) have sufficient command-line and maybe scripting functionality:
1) Have PHP create the pdf;
2) Save the pdf to a temporary file;
3) Call Acrobat or Ghostcript with the appropriate command-line arguments;
4) Delete the temporary file afterwards.
