adding a jpeg to a page w/o edit .php

I've seen some site using a url like thus:
(this url goes nowhere but is used for example url)
http://www.somesite.com/viewimg.php?neatimg.jpg

the url calls the image even from another url like:

http://www.somesite.com/viewimg.php?http://www.NewsforNow.com/images/fullfrontthumb.jpg

Anyhow, what's the script used to do this so all you have to do is add the image file name to the end and it shows the image including your surrounding html properties(border, menu, links)

It is called hot linking and will bring down fire and brimstone on you for doing it to someone's site. Unless you have a REALLY good reason for it, I won't show you here.

And I understand what ya mean Richard 🙂 but then again you could always screw the guy/gal doing it to you by removing the image and their site would have no link lol.

I wouldn't do that anyway..
