Target frame, very odd problem

This might be more of an html prob, but I don't know.

I have my left frame target my body frame, the base target in the html targets the body. This has been working and all the sudden, when I click on a link, it opens it in a new window. I checked the code, nothing has changed, I even added a target frame within each link in addition to the body target default, and it still opens links in a new window. I have no idea whats going on, the code hassn't changed at all, I didn't even refresh the left frame and all the sudden its opening up the links in a new window....Very strange, Ive never heard of this happening and don't know why it is. The left frames page is php script, but it was working and nothing changed and now its not.

I am so confused, it seems impossible for this to happen. Anyone have any ideas how or why this happens? I assume its gotta do with the php cause Ive never had an html page do this, or ever heard of it happening..

Maybe the page that contains the <frameset> tag is naming the body frame wrongly?

No, thats all correct. The weird part is that it was working, and then, out of the blue, no changes to anything, it just switches how it open the links. And a went to a differrent page and relogged into my account and it was working right again..hmmm
