Parameters showing in URL

Hi,

I've got a problem with a form. No matter whether GET or POST is used, when the form is submitted, all of its parameters are being displayed in the address bar of the browser.

The form is generated by a page that uses a parameter, i.e. register.php?what=forum - would this cause the next display of the page to display its parameters?

Stumped a bit on this one.

I don't think the reason you gave would cause this error. Can you show us the main parts of the code to look at?

That's the thing - other than the standard form HTML there isn't anything else to work with.

Starting to wonder if it is Internet Explorer....

Show us the form. Usually when this happens it is something dumb like:

<FORM TYPE="POST">

instead of

<FORM METHOD="POST">

that causes the problem (browser defaults to "get" method).
