Redirecting problem

Dear Frinends,

     I am looking forward your help to solve my problem..The problem is that I am not able to redirect  to any page from one php files.I have one hmtl form wich contains

three text field,six radio button,twenty nine combo boxes,one text area,nine hidden fields,one submit button,one reset button and one file upload option.When I submit this form to one php script ,I am able to get all form contol values including uploaded file.After all this process,I need to go to some other page (ex.Mainmenu).So I have used header("location:maimenu.html");
It is not too much to go to that page..More or less It is not going to that page....

If I remove enctype="multipart/form-data" in form tag which I have used to upload file from client,I am able to next page very quickly.....But I am not able to get uploaded file...

Actually This problem exists only in IE 5.5 ...
There is no such problem in IE 5.0

If anybody can tell solution to my problem,I will be glad....

Hi,

Well for the uploading of files you need to see the section in the manual (php.net/manual/en) on uploading files through HTTP. You might also want to take a look at the phpinfo() (just <? phpinfo(); ?> in a php file) to see where temp files are uploaded to.

Concerning the redirect, you can only do this if you haven't already sent anything to the browser and HTTP headers should have the first letter as a capital one (Location:???).

I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but try capitalizing not only the Location, but Header as well like so:

Header ("Location: http://mydomain/somefile.html");

please write me in detail how it can be possible.
